Market Weighton

Market Weighton, as its name suggests, is a thriving market town with a lovely green, duck pond and Georgian and Victorian streets. Its most famous resident is William Bradley, born in 1787, who grew his way into the Guinness Book of Records as England`s Tallest Man, measuring 7ft 9inches tall and weighing 27 stone. His name remains in the book to this day.
